“Our planet became abandoned because of our laxity. We destroyed what we all call the morning-evening star. Yes, you got it right! We were natives of the neighbouring planet Venus before we came here. I bought our Genes here on earth. I’m guilty of dereliction of duty to protect our planet. We oversighted the destruction to get development. Once Venus was green and clean but after the development of our species there, we reluctantly destroyed nature. We developed industries, vehicles and whatnot. All the space missions were successful there but we never realized the ensuing gas emission on our planet. Our ‘let it be’ policy never made us cognizant of climate-changing calamity. Our closed mindset converted open cities into gas chambers. Carbon dioxide levels steeped in the atmosphere. Rains turned acidic and the ocean became toxic. Eventually, higher temperatures reduced agricultural yields. The greenhouse effect took place hugely. And solar winds ravaged all the buildings and blemished the planet with a scorching surface.” Ancestors continued.

“I installed my brain, memory, intelligence and DNA into a spaceship and sent it to the earth at the President’s behest. Unfortunately, the spaceship crashed on the surface of the earth and exterminated many species including dinosaurs. The tectonic disturbance occurred and the extinct got buried underground. I spread our genes here on the earth. But I was unaware that they would revoke and avenge us in the form of dark and impure energy in the future again. I am connected with each human gene present over the earth. Today is an alarming time for each one of us, please don’t repeat the mistake we made because there is no planet-B now.”

“Since youth has to release their collateral from the future generation, which is a happy and long life, by providing them with the world that we borrowed from them as it was. They must plan for the instalments they are going to make. This is the time we need to ‘enact green. Try to set a yearly goal in your planner to plant trees in your locality especially on the streets and banks. Give plants instead of bouquets in nuptial ceremonies. Aspire future entrepreneurs to act renewable. Convince people to stop pollution because it is the only solution. Remember local actions will create a global impact.”
The Ancestor’s voice disappears mysteriously.
